Charity Bank: We still await word on whether HIE/lottery could allow Charity Bank to be given top security ranking. Without this, they will not give us the loan that we are seeking to ease post-project cash flow situation.
Possibility of HC acting as banker during the project: this is being progressed towards a decision in January. If they agree to it, we will still want a long term loan as well to aid cash flow after the project.
Retention – agreed by email to keep a 12 month retention of 2.5% to cover us against defects.
Salary Funding:
Before project works, current AF staff will be working on areas of project management.
Salary, and also admin, for this period can be claimed from HIE 25% & lottery 75%.
I’m waiting to hear back about HIE/lottery requirements for employing more than one person under project management. Various details to sort. All being well, we can begin to claim very soon.
During project works:
Still some hope of claiming the amount allocated to salary during project works from ERDF, by adjusting HIE percentages to fit ERDF in. If so, would probably have to advertise the positions. We can hopefully do that in April/May, rather than advertising positions now.
Log Building – tender invitations were sent, with the building size changed to approx 6m by 8m.
As the invitations have only recently been sent, the date for return was set back from late December to beginning of January.
