Funding:
A hearing of one application has been put back to a March meeting, and all supporting info has been requested this week. Much supporting info has now been sent.
HICEC: Decision on Wednesday regarding £100,000 application.
Arts Funder Application: Should be sent very soon, with log built flexi studio in it. Has been re-sent to a representative of HI~Arts for any advice.
Other: We still have yet to hear when the Scottish Biomass Support Scheme may reopen for applications. An application may be made to another charitable foundation’s arts programme. This may be a lot of work, for around £15-20,000.
Log buildings
A meeting was held with Hilary of Culag Community Woodlands Trust regarding possible CCWT involvement in the log construction course.
Lodge / Bookings / Marketing
Aga is to be serviced on Wednesday.
Enquiries and bookings are coming in gradually.
Easter Saturday, 22nd March, has been offered for a local Social Enterprise event.
Stalking
Hind season is now over. Cull target for Drumrunie has been achieved. Cull number for Glencanisp, once all deer taken have been added to the numbers, looks likely to have been achieved.
Bookings for the coming season’s stags are looking very good, with several bookings awaiting confirmation by deposit, from hunting agents, and many other enquiries coming in.
